Springshare Lounge Updates: LibApps Access and Patron Point - March 11 - 8:30 AM to 12:30PM ET

Hello Springshare Community — we have exciting news to share! 🎉

Springshare Lounge + LibApps Access

As announced in previous operational emails to LibApps users, and in our Lounge News Post here, the Springshare Lounge will be put behind LibApps access on Monday, March 11th.

To apply those updates, access to the Springshare Lounge will be intermittent during the hours of 8:30AM-12:30PM ET on Monday March 11th.

Below is a short list of the important details about this change:

  • To access the Springshare Lounge after March 11th - Login to the LibApps admin/editing side of one of your Springshare Sites (LibGuides, LibAnswers, Patron Point, etc.) using the LibApps login page or your LibAuth/SSO page, and then go to the Springshare Lounge.
  • New Lounge Users - If you don't have a Lounge account, a new account will be provisioned to you when you access the Springshare Lounge.
  • Current Lounge Users - If your LibApps account email matches a Lounge account email, the two accounts will become associated when you access the Springshare Lounge.
  • Multiple LibApps accounts: If you use multiple LibApps accounts, and you aren't seeing the correct Lounge account, log out of the Springshare Lounge, then log out and log back into your intended LibApps account, and return to the Springshare Lounge.
  • Need help? - If you need help updating your Lounge account email after March 11th, you can submit a support ticket here or send an email to support@springshare.com

Patron Point Categories

We will also be adding Patron Point categories to the Springshare Lounge during this update. This will allow the community to follow future Patron Point Release Note posts, submit Patron Point Feature Requests, and discuss Patron Point in its own product category, going forward. You can look for these categories after we make the update on March 11th! :)
