After implementing LibAnswers for traditional use as a chat and email reference tool at the St. Charles City-County Library, we quickly saw the value of it for several other applications, including purchase suggestions and readers’ advisory. Using this software, we increased inter-departmental collaboration and we became both more efficient and more accessible to our customers. This session will discuss our journey through the process and show you how to maximize the value of LibAnswers. We will also outline our plans for the future of LibAnswers as we move toward centralization of some of these services.
